Vista team sponsored by the RVU National Osteopathic Women Physician's
Association (NOWPA) and Colleges Against Cancer (CAC). Registration
= $35 for adults / $25 for 12 and under or over 65. Team members can
be registered in different events – 5k run, 5k walk, family fun 1mile,
or sleep in for the cure (so you can still be part of the team and not
actually run or walk). However, we would like to get a large representation
from the school at the event. Remember that friends and family are welcome
and encouraged to join the RVU team as well. Nicole Wielandt (Strain),
NOWPA Vice Pres. is working on a team t-shirt design. She will let everyone
know details about what we will all wear at the event as soon as she
has more info. Run the ‘Rocks – Sun., Oct. 11 9:30a – 5k Run/Walk – Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO RVU students, faculty, friends and family
are invited to join the SAA team for this 5k challenge on the park roads
of famous Red Rocks. The amphitheatre stairs will be the grand finale
of the route. Local bands will be providing a free finish-line concert.
SAA is encouraging team members to stay for the music and BYOP (bring
your own picnic) so runners, friends and family can relax, hang out
with fellow RVU folks and enjoy the spectacular views of Red Rocks. Registration = $35 for adults / $15 for
children. We have set the team fund-raising goal at $100. (Registration
fees are not factored into this amount.) If people set higher personal
goals and/or we have a large team, we can raise the team goal.
