we’ll charge $1/person (allowing for larger donations)

list for pot-luck portion: A-H to bring a side dish (salad, bread, etc.); I-Q
to bring drinks; R-Z to bring a dessert

SAA Online Presence/Communications

Membership Business
> Roster –
Formal roster of SAA members w/ each team member’s name + signature due to
national office this month. Denise Malivuk to email announcement to all SAA
contacts asking them to officially register themselves by signing roster, which
will be posted on RVU cafeteria bulletin board.
> SAA Dues
– Decided we want to avoid having to charge annual dues. Will fund raise and
ask for donations to come up with the $5/person fee due to national office.
Lacey Parks to confirm how much money is available in current budget to put
towards dues.
Fund Raisers

Landry to get proposal from photographer friend for review at next (Sept. 29)
meeting / distributed photographer brochures and biz cards to meeting attendees
/ possible holiday fund raiser – Wigglesworthphoto.com
Interest Groups/Clubs
> The list
of names of those who signed up / expressed interested in the various interest
groups and clubs (from the Club Fair) was distributed to meeting members.
> Discussed
approx. ½ of the groups: Non-Profit/Service; Hug Crew; Play Groups (during week
+ weekends); Athletics & Recreation; and new idea suggested – Weekenders

Chairs were nominated and/or volunteered to spearhead some activities – Club
Chairs will be listed on our website, on our Facebook page and in future email
blasts as the contact for more info about each group.

announcing club chairs giving contact info so people can reach them directly
